This past fashion week Zac Posen had a fashion show with models who are often over looked.

In an effort to bring light to the fact that the runways lacks diversity, Posen presented  a show that featured predominately minority models. He took notes from a young model who has struggled in the business. She even made note, In this article, that certain designers specify that they don't want black models.



Zac Posen made a big attempt to bring awareness to the lack of diversity on the runway. As a women of color, I find it very important that all colors be represented as we all own our own beauty .

I applaud Zac Posen for taking a stand, and making a step toward a more diverse runaway .
